Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia she is a Spanish flamenco singer from Spain. As as a teenager, the singer has performed in popular and traditional music. Her musical interests also extend to various genres, including hip-hop as well as soul. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. El Mal Querer is her second album, made available in 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album in 2017 her album was nominated for an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and was also awarded the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd first appeared in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. It featured collaborations on songs with various performers and artists, among them Cory Henry. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the program. While she also won three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
